A little about us: Upward is a woman-owned boutique practice with a focus on outdoor athletes of all levels, women's wellness, and a lifestyle medicine approach to PT. Our philosophy is that PT should be treated as a proactive approach to health, focusing on long term solutions to movement dysfunction and helping our patients thrive. We treat acute injuries as well as cash-based injury prevention and training programs, from mountaineer or marathon training to postpartum return to fitness.

We're currently hiring for:a part time or full time PT who also has interest in ortho PT interested in treating runners, hikers and other outdoorsy folks.Location would be either at our Ballard or Georgetown location, or a combination of both.

Hours: We are looking for someone who would be interested in working15-36 hours of patient care per week to start (with admin hours built in), with the opportunity for more hours if interested and as your caseload builds. Hours can either all be on weekdays or potentially on a weekend if interested.

The ideal candidate for this position is someone who:

• Is passionate about the PT profession and helping optimize lives through movement, and thinks outside the box of what the profession could be
• Wants more autonomy in their schedule and treatment approach
• Enjoys working with runners and hikers (and participating in these activities themselves!), and an interest in pelvic health would be a nice bonus!
• Wants to learn more and be more involved with running a business without the risk
• Is self-motivated and has great rapport with patients and colleagues, and enjoys a fun, collaborative environment
• Wants to mix it up with on-site, virtual and mobile treatment options
• Is community oriented and doesn't mind putting themselves out there with marketing, events or social media (or would like to get more comfortable!)
• Wants to build up their caseload at the pace that works for them
• Enjoys the wellness and injury prevention side of PT and wants to incorporate more of that into their practice
