Cape Heritage Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Sandwich, MA is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our care team. You will assist in providing direct resident treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and help collect assessment data.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in PTA, an active PTA license or in progress, and completion of state-mpecified CEUs. New graduates are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident treatments under a Physical Therapist's order.
• Assist in the collection of assessment data and documentation.
• Contribute to program meetings and decisions with the Rehab Program Manager.
• Train patients, residents, and caregivers as directed.
• Monitor and improve workflow in collaboration with supervisor.
• Document activities in the clinical documentation system in a timely manner.
• Support compliance with Medicare and reimbursement regulations.
• Participate in program development and quality improvement activities.

Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Company: Cape Heritage Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Sandwich

Up to $42 an hour with weekly pay.

We are hiring a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic care team! As a PTA, you will assist in the provision, collection of assessment data, and direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Education & Experience:

• Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program
• CEU's per state licensure requirements
• Must possess a PTA license in the state, or be in the process of obtaining one
• New graduates welcome!

Duties & Responsibilities:

• May perform additional assigned administrative duties as assigned by the Rehab Program Manager
• Under a physician's order provides direct resident treatments in accordance with an established plan of care
• Contributes to the team meeting and decision-making process as defined by the program
• Consults with and trains patients, residents, and caregivers
• Monitors efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisor
• Documents activities according to the company's clinical documentation system on a timely basis
• Demonstrates consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations
• Participates in clinical program development and implementation
• Demonstrates ability for continuous new learning to remain current in the field
• May perform additional duties as requested by supervisor
• Participates in quality improvement activities

• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Standing and walking for significant amounts of time is necessary
