Job summary

San Francisco Post Acute in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time role. You will provide physical therapy treatments under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and help residents improve strength, mobility, and independence.

Current California PTA license required; new graduates are encouraged to apply. The position offers hourly pay of $48-$52 with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k), PTO, holiday

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Help residents improve strength, balance, coordination, mobility, and functional independence.
• Implement individualized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions.
• Monitor resident responses to treatment and communicate progress or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Educate and encourage residents throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary team members to support resident-centered care.
• Follow facility policies, clinical standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
