Job summary

Puget Sound Care is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support residents at our Olympia, WA facility. This role focuses on patient-centered assessment to identify strengths and weaknesses, and to develop effective, collaborative treatment plans with the care team.

You will help residents regain mobility and function, aligning with physician orders and ensuring compassionate, ongoing communication with patients and families.

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Pay Range: $40.00 - $48.00/HR DOE

Location: Puget Sound Care, 4001 Capital Mall Dr. SW, Olympia, WA 98502

What you will do:

• Optimize patient centered diagnosis by assessing strengths and weaknesses
• Devise a creative and effective team-based treatment plans in accordance with the physician's orders
• Help resident restore their physical function and mobility

Must have:

• Compassion for residents
• Forward Thinking
• Effective communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills that can motivate patients
• Must have a valid Washington PTA credentials that is in good standing
• Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred
