Job summary

Vasona Creek Healthcare Center in Los Gatos, CA is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Short-Term Rehabilitation team. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence after surgery or medical events.

Our state-of-the-art therapy gym and collaborative culture provide ongoing mentorship, professional growth, and opportunities to impact patient outcomes daily.

Qualifications

• Current and active California PTA license.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Commitment to patient-centered rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Provide skilled interventions to improve strength, mobility, balance, and functional independence.
• Assist with gait training, transfers, and functional activities.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate outcomes to the supervising PT.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to ensure optimal patient care.
