Pate Rehabilitation is looking for a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Irving, Texas. As a PTA, you will assist patients with exercises, ambulation, and functional activities, while also supporting the Physical Therapist in evaluations and complex treatment procedures. Candidates must have an Associate's degree and a current license to practice as a PTA in Texas. Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited college or university required.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Texas required.
• Must pass all pre-employment and employment verifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in exercise, ambulation, functional activities, and the application/use of assistive devices.
• Assist Physical Therapist in executing patient evaluations and complex treatment procedures.
• Educate patients and families on selected procedures and functional activities.
• Participate in ongoing program evaluation and development.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all care provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in exercise, ambulation, functional activities, and the application/use of assistive devices in accordance with the treatment plan established by the Physical Therapist
• Assist Physical Therapist in the execution of patient evaluations and complex treatment procedures
• Educate patients, families, and other health workers on selected procedures and functional activities as directed by Physical Therapist
• Participate in ongoing program evaluation and development
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all care provided
• Maintain working knowledge of and adherence to the Physical Therapy Practice Ace and Code of Ethics
• Perform other duties as assigned
