Pate Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. This is a great opportunity to be a critical member of the patient care team and provide valuable support to our patients.

Responsibilities include assisting with exercise, ambulation, treatment procedures, and education for patients and families, under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. We offer solid benefits and a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Texas required.
• Must pass all pre-employment and employment verifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in exercise, ambulation, functional activities, and the use of assistive devices per the Physical Therapist’s plan of care.
• Assist Physical Therapist in patient evaluations and complex treatment procedures.
• Educate patients, families, and other health workers on procedures and activities as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Participate in ongoing program evaluation and development.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all care provided.
• Adhere to the Physical Therapy Practice Act and Code of Ethics.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in exercise, ambulation, functional activities, and the application/use of assistive devices in accordance with the treatment plan established by the Physical Therapist
• Assist Physical Therapist in the execution of patient evaluations and complex treatment procedures
• Educate patients, families, and other health workers on selected procedures and functional activities as directed by Physical Therapist
• Participate in ongoing program evaluation and development
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all care provided
• Maintain working knowledge of and adherence to the Physical Therapy Practice Ace and Code of Ethics
• Perform other duties as assigned
