Job summary

Pate Rehabilitation, an affiliate of Rehab Without Walls, seeks a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our care team in Texas. This role supports PT-led treatment plans, assists with patient exercise and mobility, and contributes to ongoing program evaluation.

Responsibilities include documenting care, educating patients and families, and maintaining adherence to the PT Practice Act and ethics. Licensing in Texas is required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Texas is required.
• Must pass all pre-employment and employment verifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in exercise, ambulation, functional activities, and the use of assistive devices per the treatment plan established by the Physical Therapist.
• Assist Physical Therapist in the execution of patient evaluations and complex treatment procedures.
• Educate patients, families, and other health workers on selected procedures and functional activities as directed by Physical Therapist.
• Participate in ongoing program evaluation and development.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all care provided.
• Maintain working knowledge of and adherence to the Physical Therapy Practice Act and Code of Ethics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
