Job summary

Pate Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced and compassionate Physical Therapist to work in a clinic setting. You will evaluate and treat patients, supervise a team of PTAs and technicians, and contribute to a collaborative patient-care approach.

You will develop goal-directed therapy programs, guide active and passive exercises, and document care thoroughly while supporting discharge planning and equipment needs.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Physical Therapy or related field with PT certification.
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy in Texas required.
• Ability to analyze therapy data to improve treatment efficiency and quality.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment and employment verifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement goal-directed therapy programs for each client based on evaluations.
• Direct and aid client in active and passive exercises, gait and functional training.
• Maintain timely and thorough documentation of care provided.
• Prepare for client discharge with in-home evaluations, caregiver education, and equipment procurement.
• Supervise a team of Licensed PTAs, PT Technicians, students, and rehab technicians to ensure treatment plan completion.
• Maintain knowledge of and adherence to Physical Therapy Practice Act and Code of Ethics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement goal-directed therapy programs for each client based on in-depth evaluations
• Direct and aid client in active and passive exercises, muscle re-education, gait and functional training
• Maintain timely and thorough, discipline-specific documentation of care provided
• Prepare for client discharge by performing in-home evaluations, client/caregiver education, and procurement of recommended equipment
• Supervise a team of Licensed Physical Therapist Assistants, Physical Therapy Technicians, Physical Therapy students, and Rehabilitation Technicians on a routine basis to ensure completion of the established treatment plan
• Maintain a working knowledge of and adherence to Physical Therapy Practice Act and Code of Ethics
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution or B.S. degree in a related field with a Physical Therapy certification from an accredited institution
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Texas required
