Job summary

Qualifications

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Regal Heights Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center

Regal Heights Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, a 172-bed skilled nursing facility located in Hockessin, DE, is seeking a Per-Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation department. As a valued member of our team, you will provide direct resident treatment, educate residents and caregivers, and contribute to the delivery of quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Under a physician’s order, provide direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care

• Provide excellent training for residents and caregivers

• Document services provided within Rehab Optima on a timely basis

• Demonstrate consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations

• Exhibit courtesy, compassion, and respect to residents, families, caregivers, and co-workers

• Participate in clinical program development and implementation

• Contribute to the team meeting and decision-making process as defined by the program

• Participate in quality improvement activities as needed

• May perform additional assigned administrative duties

Educational Requirements:

• Graduated from an accredited program approved by your professional association

• Current licensure by the applicable state agency

Experience Required:

• Clinical experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred
