Job summary

Pivot Rehabilitation is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a part-time role at our Flower Mound location. You will treat patients as directed by the physical therapist, document treatments in the medical record, and participate in weekly rehabilitation meetings alongside the supervising therapist and multidisciplinary team.

We offer competitive pay starting at $33/hour plus a full benefits package (401k with match, medical, dental, vision, PTO), tuition reimbursement, and free CEUs.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license in practicing state.
• Must have good communication skills and relate professionally to patients, family, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Treats patients as directed by the physical therapist.
• Records treatments given in medical record.
• Participates in patient care conferences and weekly rehabilitation meetings.
• Communicates with supervising therapist, rehab director and other team members regarding patient progress.
• Participates in facility in-service training programs.
• Records daily treatments and labor according to procedures and state Physical Therapy rules.

Essential Functions:

• Treats patients as directed by the physical therapist
• Records treatments given in medical record

• Communicates with supervising therapist, rehab director and other interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans
• Participates in facility in-service training programs
• Records daily treatments and labor according to corporate procedure and state Physical Therapy rules

Qualifications:

• Current license in practicing state
• Must have good communication skills and be able to relate professionally and positively to patients, patients’ family members, and staff
