Qualifications

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at Aspire Senior Living Excelsior Springs, you will work alongside our experienced physical therapy team to deliver exceptional care to our residents. Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans, conduct exercises and physical activities, and provide education to residents and their families. Your goal will be to improve mobility, strength, and overall function, while promoting independence and quality of life.

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapist in the evaluation, planning, and implementation of treatment plans
• Conduct exercises and physical activities under the supervision of the Physical Therapist
• Provide education to residents and their families on proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and injury prevention
• Document patient progress and communicate with the Physical Therapist and other healthcare team members
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
