Job summary

Aspire Senior Living New Florence is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our caring team on a PRN/per diem basis. You will support licensed PTs in planning and implementing resident-centered therapy to improve mobility and quality of life.

In this role, you will conduct assessments, deliver exercises, document progress, and educate residents and families. Strong communication and compassion for seniors are essential, with the ability to lift and assist residents as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) required.
• Current Missouri PTA license or eligibility.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with seniors and their families.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment plans.
• Conduct assessments of residents' physical status, identifying strengths and limitations.
• Develop and implement treatment modalities including exercises, stretches, and training programs.
• Provide education to residents, families, and caregivers on physical therapy techniques.
