Aspire Senior Living Carthage is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our care team on a per diem/PRN basis. You will work under a licensed physical therapist to support residents in maintaining and improving mobility.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, strong communication, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to create individualized plans and ensure smooth transitions back to daily activities.

Qualifications

• PTA works under supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Provide education and support to residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist with exercise programs and conduct treatments as directed by the licensed physical therapist
• Maintain accurate records of patient progress and communication with interdisciplinary team members
• Provide education and support to residents, family members, and caregivers
• Provide exceptional customer service and promote a positive, supportive environment for residents and staff
• Collaborate with the physical therapy team to develop and implement individualized plans of care

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) on our team, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide physical therapy services to our residents. Your duties will include assisting with exercise programs, conducting treatments, and maintaining accurate records of patient progress. Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will also provide education and support to residents, family members, and caregivers to ensure a smooth transition back to their normal daily activities. With a focus on compassion, empathy, and excellent communication skills, Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will help our residents achieve their highest level of physical function and independence.
