Job summary

Validation Associates LLC is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Albuquerque, NM team. The PTA will implement treatment plans, provide therapeutic interventions, monitor progress, and educate patients and families on home programs as part of a collaborative care team.

Candidates should hold an accredited PTA associate degree, NM licensure or eligibility, CPR/BLS, and have strong communication skills to educate patients and support recovery in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Current PTA licensure in New Mexico or eligibility to obtain.
  • CPR/BLS certification required.
  • Prior clinical experience in rehabilitation or outpatient setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of therapeutic modalities and patient care protocols.
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, reporting updates to the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment at all times.
