Job summary

LTC Therapy Services is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the rehabilitation team at Ingraham Manor Nursing Home in Bristol, CT. This full-time position offers $33-$36/hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

Work alongside experienced professionals to help residents improve mobility, rebuild strength, and achieve greater independence in a skilled nursing and post-acute setting. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

  • Active Connecticut PTA license required
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • New graduate PTAs welcome to apply

Responsibilities

  • Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Assist residents with strengthening, balance, gait training, transfers, endurance, and mobility
  • Carry out individualized treatment plans and support established rehabilitation goals
  • Monitor resident response to treatment and communicate progress to the supervising PT
  • Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and safety strategies
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with PT, OT, SLP, nursing, and other members of the care team

LTC Therapy Services is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the rehabilitation team at Ingraham Manor Nursing Home. What You'll Do
