Job summary

Continuum Therapy Partners is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a PRN, on-site role at Delmar Gardens of Gwinnett in Lawrenceville, GA. You will implement treatment plans under a supervising PT and educate patients on home exercises and assistive devices.

The position supports a flexible daytime schedule with PRN hours and requires an accredited PTA program, Georgia PTA license, and preferred 1 year of PTA experience.

Qualifications

• Requires an accredited PTA program degree.
• Active Georgia PTA license in good standing.
• One year of PTA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Documents patient progress and reports changes to the supervising PT.
• Educates patients on home exercise programs and use of assistive devices.

Physical Therapist Assistant Requirements & Responsibilities:

• Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Program required

• Current, unencumbered state Physical Therapist Assistant License

• 1 year of previous experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist

• Documents patient progress and reports changes in patient status to the supervising PT

• Educates patients on home exercise programs and proper use of assistive devices
