Job summary

ClarkLindsey is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to support residents under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The PTA will help improve mobility, manage pain, and promote independence through prescribed exercises, gait training, and therapeutic techniques.

This PRN, on-site role offers $38.00 per hour, with bonuses up to 2% of salary based on performance, and a benefits package including medical and dependent FSA, AFLAC, education reimbursement, paid time off,

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program.
• CPR certification.
• Geriatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment programs as established by the supervising PT.
• Assist with gait training, balance exercises, therapeutic activities, and functional mobility tasks.
• Document resident care and communicate progress or concerns to the PT.
• Ensure safe and proper use of therapy equipment.
• Participate in interdisciplinary coordination and restorative programs.

Join the team at ClarkLindsey! The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) helps peo ple regain movement, manage pain, and improve functional mobility. PTAs provide direct care, including implementing treatment plans, teaching exercises, and using techniques like massage or therapeutic equipment to assist patients in reaching optimal wellness.

What You’ll Do:

The PTA provides physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to help residents improve mobility, strength, endurance, and functional independence.

Compensation and Benefits:

The pay for this PRN position is $38.00 per hour. Bonuses equaling up to 2% of salary annually are available based on performance, generally in the spring and fall each year.
