Job summary

Select Medical’s outpatient orthopedic center in Norman seeks a Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver high-quality patient care under licensed PT supervision. The role requires a PTA program graduate with CAPTE exam and an active state PTA license, plus CPR certification.

You will work Monday through Friday with a 7am-6pm window, at 1106 W Main St, Norman, OK 73069. Join a respected clinical team focused on helping patients regain function and return to activities they enjoy.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited PTA program and have passed the CAPTE national exam.
• Valid state PTA license or license in process.
• CPR certification and ability to work under supervision as required by state law.

Overview

Position:Physical Therapist Assistant (Part-Time)

Location: 1106 W Main St. Norman, OK 73069

Schedule: Monday-Friday with hours between 7am-6pm

Compensation: $28hr-$33hr depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
