Select Medical is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for our outpatient orthopedic center in Norman, OK. You will work under the supervision of a licensed PT to deliver high-quality care to patients of all ages.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Passed CAPTE national exam for PTAs.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist as required by state laws.
• Deliver high-quality PT services to patients and caregivers following policy and procedures.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients and support client relations.

Overview

Position:Physical Therapist Assistant

Location: 1106 W. Main St. Norman, OK 73069

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm, 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm

Compensation: Starting at $27hr (Commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
