S P O T, Inc. is seeking a skilled and passionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our pediatric outpatient clinic. You will work closely with Physical Therapists to provide therapy services to children, assist in implementing treatment plans, and document progress in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program from a CAPTE-accredited college
  • Current and valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric patients
  • Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and assistive devices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Compassionate and client-centered approach to therapy

Responsibilities

  • Implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision and guidance of Physical Therapists
  • Providing one-on-one therapy sessions and group activities to improve gross motor skills, coordination, balance, etc.
  • Collaborating with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and continuity of care
  • Monitoring and documenting progress, while communicating with the PT when treatment plans need to be adjusted as necessary
  • Assisting in the maintenance and organization of therapy materials and equipment
  • Participating in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities

In this role, you will work closely with Physical Therapists to provide therapy services to children in our outpatient clinic setting.
