S P O T, Inc. in Northern California is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to work in early intervention with infants and toddlers aged 0-3 years under the supervision of Physical Therapists.

The PTA will provide individualized therapy, document progress, and collaborate with families and other professionals to ensure continuity of care. New graduates are welcome, with mentorship resources to support growth and development.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program from a CAPTE-accredited college or school.
  • Current and valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric patients.
  • Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and assistive devices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Compassionate and client-centered approach to therapy.

Responsibilities

  • Implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision and guidance of Physical Therapists.
  • Providing one-on-one therapy sessions and group activities to improve gross motor skills, coordination, balance, etc.
  • Collaborating with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and continuity of care.
  • Monitoring and documenting progress, while communicating with the PT when treatment plans need to be adjusted as necessary.
  • Assisting in the maintenance and organization of therapy materials and equipment.
  • Participating in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.

Salary: $63,000 - $67,000 per year

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team, specifically focusing on early intervention services. In this role, you will work closely with infants and toddlers aged 0-3 years and their families, under the supervision of Physical Therapists, to provide therapy interventions that address developmental delays or disabilities
