Job summary

S P O T, Inc. is seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist to provide outpatient clinic services for children aged 0-18 with developmental delays. We offer flexible scheduling, mentorship for new graduates, and a supportive work environment in Northern California.

Join a dedicated team of professionals including SLPs, OTs, PTs, and Early Childhood Educators. New graduates welcome; 10 days PTO plus holidays and sick days, health insurance, 401k, and mileage reimbursement provided.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a CAE-accredited college or school.
  • Clinical competence in pediatric speech and language disorders.
  • Knowledge of a variety of assessment and intervention techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in gathering data for comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and in collaboration with the child's family and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide therapy sessions to improve speech articulation, language comprehension and expression, social communication, and feeding/swallowing skills.
  • Incorporate evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques into treatment sessions.
  • Monitor and document progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to provide education, support, and home-based strategies for promoting optimal communication and language development.
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, professional development activities, and interdisciplinary evaluations as needed.

Salary: $34-$40 per hour

Requirements

Responsibilities:

Current and valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

Clinical competence in pediatric speech and language disorders

Knowledge of a variety of assessment and intervention techniques

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Compassionate and client-centered approach to therapy
