Good Samaritan in Stillwater, MN is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team on a PRN-day shift. You will support therapy activities and exercises for seniors under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, aiming to improve daily living and independence.

New grads are welcome. A valid BLS certification and PTA licensure are required or must be obtained. Facility offers a robust benefits package and opportunities for mentorship and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) program as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Must be licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the practicing state(s).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of employment.

Responsabilités

• Assist patients/residents/clients with therapy activities and exercises under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Provide, monitor, and record therapy services to patients in line with standard concepts, practices and procedures.
• Contribute to outcome achievement by documenting patient responses and communicating with the supervising PT.
