Good Samaritan in Robbinsdale, MN, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our not-for-profit team dedicated to quality care in a Christian environment.

The role provides therapy services under the supervision of a physical therapist, assisting with activities and exercises to improve quality of life and daily living. Full-time schedule, 40 hours weekly, day shifts, with a salary range of $24.00-$38.50 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Education level as per state licensure; must be a graduate through an approved American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) program as a PTA.
• Must be licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the practicing state(s).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of employment.
• Driver's license may be required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients/residents/clients with therapy activities and exercises scheduled in a treatment plan under the supervision of a physical therapist.
• Provides, monitors and records therapy services to patients/residents/clients with physical, cognitive, developmental impairments.
• Selects, implements, and modifies therapeutic activities aligned with patient goals and licensure requirements.
• Communicates and documents patient responses with the physical therapist.
• Follows clinical practice guidelines and may focus on post-acute, long-term care and home health settings as needed.
