Job summary

Stillwater Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation seeks a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to collaborate with physical therapists and implement customized treatment plans. You will help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence through targeted exercises and modalities.

You will evaluate patients, monitor progress, and communicate with families and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care. A PTA certification and strong interpersonal skills are required.

Qualifications

• Current PTA certification (NPTA) required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's in PT or related field preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassionate and patient-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Conduct patient evaluations and assessments to identify areas of strength and weakness.
• Implement treatment plans, including exercises, stretches, and other modalities.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress.
