Job summary

Southview Acres Healthcare Center in West St. Paul, Minnesota, is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide quality PT care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

This PRN position supports evaluation, goal setting, and treatment plan development in a community healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will hold an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy, have passed the NPTAE, and hold or be eligible for Minnesota PTA licensure.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• National Physical Therapy Assistant Examination (NPTAE) passed.
• Minnesota PTA license or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality physical therapy care within the PTA scope of practice under the direct supervision of the Physical Therapist in accordance with established standards of practice, department procedures and productivity standards.
• Assist the Physical Therapist in the evaluation process and with identifying a target list, including short-term goals, long-term goals and treatment plan.
