Hourly Pay Range:

$24.86 - $37.29 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Inpatient/ Outpatient - Per Diem

Position Highlights:

• Location: Elmhurst, Naperville, Evanston, Skokie, Arlington Heights, and Chicago
• Per Diem

Brief Overview:

The licensed Physical Therapy Assistant provides direct professional patient/resident physical therapy services under the supervision of a physical therapist. They perform procedures based on the patient's age and developmental status to maximize clinical outcomes and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Administer delegated patient care procedures.
• Ensure procedures are performed appropriately for patient age and development.
• Order assistive devices as needed.
• Educate patients and families on home programs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and participate in peer reviews.
• Communicate with physicians and healthcare team regarding patient progress.
• Participate in staff education and community service activities.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience (entry level position).
• Valid IL licensure or eligibility, CPR/BLS certification.
• Good interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
