Hourly Pay Range:

$24.86 - $37.29 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Inpatient/Outpatient - Per Diem
Position Highlights:
  • Location: Elmhurst, Naperville, Evanston, Skokie, Arlington Heights, and Chicago
  • Per Diem
Overview:

The licensed Physical Therapist Assistant provides direct professional patient/resident physical therapy services under the supervision of a physical therapist. They perform procedures based on the patient's age and development to maximize outcomes and safety.

Responsibilities:
  • Understand and comply with relevant laws and policies.
  • Provide delegated patient care and maintain accurate records.
  • Educate patients and families on home programs.
  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals regarding patient progress.
  • Participate in peer reviews, in-service education, and community service.
  • Assist with equipment, scheduling, and billing as per policy.
Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience (entry level).
  • Valid IL licensure or eligibility, CPR/BLS certification.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and independent working skills.
  • Knowledge of Lymphedema and site-specific requirements beneficial.
