We are searching for a FULL-TIME OR PART-TIME/PRN Physical Therapist Assistants for Aquacare Physical Therapy PLUS.
Aquacare Physical Therapy PLUS is an innovative mobile rehab model that brings outpatient (Part B) therapy directly to patients' homes. It serves more active individuals focused on maintaining independence, recovering from orthopedic injuries, or achieving personal fitness goals. This role offers the advantage of spending more time with each patient and managing a smaller daily caseload compared to a traditional outpatient clinic. If you enjoy outpatient work but prefer fewer patient visits per day with personalized care, this role is ideal for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient-level therapy services to patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries or managing chronic musculoskeletal conditions.
- Manage a diverse orthopedic caseload including injuries, pain, movement dysfunctions, and active older adults.
- Create personalized care plans focusing on strength, mobility, balance, and pain reduction.
- Spend more one-on-one time with each patient, emphasizing quality over volume.
- Provide care in homes, parks, fitness centers, or community settings, ensuring functional sessions.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate care.

Physical Therapist Assistant Education and Experience (Required)
Applicants must meet these qualifications:
- Active PTA License in Maryland or part of the PT Compact.
- Graduate of an accredited program with at least an Associate’s degree.
- Minimum of 1 year licensed experience.
- Valid driver’s license, current insurance, and good driving record.
- PTA License (required), CPR (preferred).
