Start your next adventure with the Aquacare Physical Therapy PLUS!
We are searching for a PART-TIME/PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our PT PLUS mobile rehab program.
Aquacare Physical Therapy PLUS is an innovative mobile rehab model that brings outpatient (Part B) therapy directly to patients' homes. It serves more active individuals focused on maintaining independence, recovering from orthopedic injuries, or achieving personal fitness goals. This role offers the advantage of spending more time with each patient and managing a smaller daily caseload compared to traditional outpatient clinics.
If you enjoy outpatient work but prefer fewer patient visits per day and the ability to provide personalized care without time constraints, this role is ideal for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient-level therapy services to patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries (e.g., joint replacements, rotator cuff repairs, spinal procedures) or managing chronic musculoskeletal conditions (e.g., back pain, arthritis).
- Manage a diverse orthopedic caseload: treat injuries, pain, movement dysfunctions, and active older adults focused on mobility and injury prevention.
- Create personalized care plans emphasizing strength, mobility, balance, and pain reduction.
- Spend more one-on-one time with each patient, prioritizing quality care and patient-centered outcomes.
- Provide care in homes, parks, fitness centers, and community settings, ensuring sessions are functional and relevant to real-world activities.
- Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and healthcare teams to coordinate care.
