Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Montana is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support a Physical Therapist in delivering patient-centered rehabilitation. You will implement treatment plans, guide exercises, and monitor progress to help patients reach functional goals.

Responsibilities include patient instruction, reporting outcomes, coordinating with staff, safe patient transfers, and assisting with orthopedic braces or devices as needed. MT licensure required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or PT program certification is required.
• Must be licensed in Montana.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds during transfers.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and motivate patients during exercises and functional activities.
• Observe patient responses and report progress to the Physical Therapist.
• Coordinate with staff to modify treatment plans.
• Safely transport, lift, and transfer patients as needed.
• Assist with braces and assistive devices as required.
