Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Montana is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to support patients recovering from serious illness or injury. Working under licensed therapists, you will help restore mobility, balance and function through targeted therapy activities and safe gait training.

Responsibilities include documenting services for billing, following the Plan of Care, coordinating with the care team, and contributing to individualized therapy plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Requires valid Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification in the state of practice, or proof of license eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Support residents in short-term/transitional rehab to regain independence.
• Assist in delivering quality patient care under licensed therapists.
• Document all services for accurate billing.
• Follow Plan of Care and applicable guidelines.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans under supervision.
• Refer to other disciplines as needed under supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
