Job summary

Blue Stone Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide rehabilitation services to adult and geriatric patients at Ridgecrest Village in Davenport, IA. The PTA works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans designed to improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, pain management, and overall functional independence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current PTA license (or eligibility) in the applicable state.
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute rehabilitation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy treatment in accordance with established plans of care.
• Implement individualized treatment programs focused on functional outcomes.
• Treat adult and geriatric patients in SNF and rehab settings.
• Monitor patient response and communicate progress with the supervising PT.
