Blue Stone Therapy in Coralville, IA is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide rehabilitation services to adult and geriatric patients at Lancet Park Specialty Care. The PTA works under a Physical Therapist to implement plans of care and improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.

The role emphasizes skilled nursing/post-acute rehab, documentation for quality care, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Physical Therapy Assistant license (or eligibility for licensure) in applicable state
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute rehabilitation preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and clinical reasoning skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care and professional standards

Responsabilités

• Provide skilled physical therapy treatment in accordance with established plans of care
• Implement individualized treatment programs focused on functional and measurable outcomes
• Treat adult and geriatric patients in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting and rehabilitation settings
• Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress with the supervising Physical Therapist
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation to support quality care and reimbursement standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and facility staff to support positive patient outcomes
