Spring River is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team in Roswell, New Mexico. New graduates are welcome, with a $5K sign-on bonus for this role.

The PTA works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to enhance residents’ mobility, strength, and functional independence in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of current therapy practices.
• Experience with Net Health or similar EMR systems preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to supervising therapist.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy programs.
• Accurately document treatments and patient responses in compliance with regulations.

Position Overview

The PTA works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide direct patient care. This role focuses on helping residents improve mobility, strength, and functional independence.
