Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant – 13 Week Contract

Overview

Setting: Outpatient only

Pay Package: Starting at $1,400 per week

• Guarantee: 40-hour weekly guarantee
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm – No weekends, holidays, or call
• Start Date: 05/19/2025
• Length: 13 weeks

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with stretching and exercises for specific muscle groups
• Read and follow instructions from Physical Therapist
• Work directly with Physical Therapist to assist patients
• Communicate with families to implement at-home techniques
• Maintain a clean and organized physical therapy environment
• Assist patients in transferring from wheelchairs or walkers to therapy areas
• Teach patients techniques such as balance training

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Valid state license or eligibility for licensure
• CPR Certification
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a background check
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in skilled nursing and outpatient settings preferred, but new graduates are welcome
