Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant - 13 Week Contract

Location: Marshall, MN

We provide 13-week travel contracts, assist with housing, licensure navigation, and serve as a liaison between you and the facility. We aim to find the right opportunity for you.

Overview

• Setting: Outpatient only
• Pay Package: Starting at $1,400 per week
• Guarantee: 40-hour weekly guarantee
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm (No weekends, holidays, or call)
• Start Date: 05/19/2025
• Length: 13 weeks

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with stretching and exercises for specific muscle groups
• Follow instructions from Physical Therapist
• Work directly with Physical Therapist to assist patients
• Communicate with families to find best at-home techniques
• Maintain a clean and organized physical therapy environment
• Assist in moving patients from wheelchairs or walkers to therapy areas
• Teach patients techniques like balance training

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Valid state Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility
• CPR Certification
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass background check
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in skilled nursing or outpatient settings is preferred, but new graduates are welcome
