Select Medical in York, PA is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant for our outpatient orthopedic center. The PTA will provide patient care under a licensed PT, delivering high-quality outpatient services and supporting patient recovery.

This role emphasizes personalized treatments to restore function and help patients return to daily activities. The ideal candidate is a PTA graduate with CAPTE certification, holds or is pursuing licensure, and commits to a full-time schedule with strong patient

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Passed a national exam for PTAs (CAPTE).
• Valid PTA license or in process.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient

Location: York, PA

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, No Weekends!

Compensation: Hourly rate is $22-$30/hr based on your experience.

Incentives: $5000 Sign on Bonus, plus $200 per month in Student Loan Assistance!

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
