Job summary

Select Medical in Bala Cynwyd, PA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for our outpatient clinic. This full-time role involves working Monday through Friday with no weekends, in a diverse patient mix including ortho, sports, vestibular and post-concussion care.

Mentorship is provided for new grads; you will join a large network of clinicians across 1,900 centers. Competitive hourly pay reflects experience, with comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• CAPTE national PTA examination passed.
• Valid state PTA license (or license in process).
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Education

Overview

Position:Physical Therapist Assistant- Outpatient

Location: Bala Cynwyd, PA

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday. No Weekends!

Compensation: Hourly rate is between $28-$32 based on your experience.

Unique Location/Job Details: Established outpatient PT clinic with 10 Phyiscal Therapists 2 Occupational Therapists, plus front desks staff. Looking to add a PTA. Diverse patient mix with ortho, sports medicine and vestibular/post-concussion. Mentorship provided for new grads.

We are looking for a dynamic physical therapist assistant who would like to perform therapy both in an outpatient clinic with a wide variety of orthopedic and neurological diagnoses. Additionally, you will gain experience providing exceptional patient care as part of an industry-leading clinical team. You will have the opportunity to work as part of a large network of specialists, more than 140 clinicians. Work with our dynamic and patient centered diverse clinical team of 11 Physical Therapists and 2 Occupational Therapists. We are a Sports Center of Excellence which allows for focused treatments of athletes.
