Job summary

Accela Rehab & Care Center at Springfield in Glenside, PA is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team of health professionals providing excellent care for residents.

As a PTA, you will assist in evaluating residents, developing and implementing treatment plans, and supporting daily tasks to help residents maintain independence. A current PA PTA license is required, LT-care experience is preferred, and vaccination including booster is necessary.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Current Pennsylvania PTA license.
• Experience in long-term-care settings preferred.
• COVID-19 vaccination required, including booster.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating residents and developing treatment plans.
• Help residents perform daily tasks independently.
• Monitor residents as they carry out prescribed activities.
• Assist in rehabilitating residents after injury, illness, or other issues.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and information handling.
• Support cooperation among healthcare teams to contribute to patient care.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you are to:

• Assist in evaluating Residents & developing a treatment plan that will meet their needs.
• Assist in activities that will help the Residents to carry out their daily works independently.
• Assist in monitoring Residents as they carry out the task given to them.
• Assist in rehabilitating Residents who have been disabled as a result of injury, illness, or other problems.
• Assist in maintaining Resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing.
• Assist in maintaining a cooperative relationship among healthcare teams & contributes to the team effort.

Requirements Include:

• Current Pennsylvania PTA License
• Experience in Long-term-care settings preferred
