Job summary

Avalon Rehab & Care Center in Wayne, NJ is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team of health professionals in providing excellent care to residents.

Responsibilities include assisting in evaluating residents, developing plans, helping residents perform daily tasks, monitoring progress, and maintaining resident confidentiality within a team-oriented long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania PTA license.
• Experience in long-term-care settings preferred.
• COVID-19 vaccination is required, including booster

• Assist in monitoring Residents as they carry out the task given to them.
• Assist in rehabilitating Residents who have been disabled as a result of injury, illness, or other problems.
• Assist in maintaining Resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing.
• Assist in maintaining a cooperative relationship among healthcare teams & contributes to the team effort.
