Job summary

Rose View Rehab and Care Center is looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. You will work closely with licensed therapists to evaluate residents, implement treatment plans, and assist residents in daily activities within our long-term care setting.

The ideal candidate holds a Pennsylvania PTA license, has experience in long-term-care environments, and demonstrates compassion, organization, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must hold Pennsylvania PTA license or be eligible for licensure in Pennsylvania.
• Experience in long-term-care settings preferred.
• Ability to work in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating residents and developing treatment plans.
• Help residents perform daily activities independently.
• Monitor residents during tasks and progress.
• Assist in rehabilitating residents after injury or illness.
• Maintain residents' confidentiality and data accuracy.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to support resident care.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you are to:

• Assist in evaluating Residents & developing a treatment plan that will meet their needs.
• Assist in activities that will help the Residents to carry out their daily works independently.
• Assist in monitoring Residents as they carry out the task given to them.
• Assist in rehabilitating Residents who have been disabled as a result of injury, illness, or other problems.
• Assist in maintaining Resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing.
• Assist in maintaining a cooperative relationship among healthcare teams & contributes to the team effort.

Requirements Include:

• Current Pennsylvania PTA License
• Experience in Long-term-care settings preferred

• COVID-19 vaccination is required, including booster
