Job summary

Lacamas Creek Post Acute is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the rehabilitation team. You will work with Physical Therapists and the care team to help patients regain strength, mobility, independence, and confidence.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited PTA program and a current PTA license or eligibility. Strong communication, compassion, and a team-oriented approach are essential to provide excellent patient care in a full-time setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Help patients work toward individualized therapy goals.
• Assist with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Accurately document treatments and patient responses.
• Educate and encourage patients throughout rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and other care team members.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive therapy environment.
