Fox Valley Orthopedics is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to implement therapy plans under licensed PT supervision in Elgin, IL. The role runs full-time, Monday through Friday, with day and evening shifts and no weekends, and offers $28.50–$35.00 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Implements treatment programs designed by a physical therapist to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintains complete and accurate records pertinent to patient treatment to assure proper documentation and to be in regulatory compliance.
• Maintains professional skills/competencies to effectively and progressively meet the demands of the position.
• Provide clinical instruction to students when assigned.
• Incumbent is expected to comply with safety policies and procedures, regulatory requirements such as OSHA and to participate in corporate-wide and department safety activities.
• Comply with safety activities, policies and procedures and regulatory requirements such as OSHA.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Attend and participate in department meetings.
• Attend mandatory educational programs.
• Follow established guidelines as stated in departmental policies and procedures.
• Responsible for all other duties as assigned.
• Must be able to pass background check.
• We also conduct pre-employment TB and drug testing.
• Any job offer will be contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment TB and drug screen, background check, and obtaining active licensures per job requirements.

Position Summary

The Physical Therapist Assistant the PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed PT to implement treatment plans, assist patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals, and ensure a high standard of care in a collaborative environment.
