Job summary

Select Medical is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team in Toledo, IA. You will deliver high-quality PT services under supervision and help patients regain function for sports, work, and daily life.

New graduates are encouraged to apply. Eligible candidates must be PTA program graduates, pass the CAPTE exam, hold a valid state PTA license (or be in process), and maintain CPR certification.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
• Passed the CAPTE national examination.
• Valid state PTA license or license in process.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities per policy.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers, patients, and staff.

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant

Location: 1307 S. Broadway, Toledo, IA 52342

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8-5pm

Compensation: $25-$27hr

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.


• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures


• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program


• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE


• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)


• CPR certification
