Job Summary

What We're Looking For

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), under a Physical Therapist's supervision, provides therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment, adhering to professional standards and ethics.

Licenses and Certifications

• Valid state PTA license or certification
• Current CPR certification (preferred)

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program
• 0-1 years of experience

Roles and Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities (heat, cold, electrical stimulation)
• Monitor and document patient responses and progress, report to supervising Physical Therapist
• Educate patients and families on exercises and safety strategies
• Assist Physical Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care
• Perform other duties as assigned
