Role Responsibilities

• Provide quality, compassionate care within a team in a secure environment.
• Implement patients' Care Plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, assisting patients with tasks to restore and enhance their performance.
• Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with scheduling and record-keeping.
• Document patient care in compliance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accreditation standards.
• Educate patients' families and nursing staff on follow-up programs.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition.
• Adhere to the company's Code of Business Conduct, Compliance policies, professional standards, and applicable laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program with an Associate Degree.
• Current state licensure as a PTA or equivalent in the states where services are provided.
• CPR certification (if required).
