Job Summary

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, provides therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary setting, adhering to professional standards and ethics.

Licenses and Certifications

• Valid state PTA licensure or certification
• Current CPR certification (preferred)

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program
• Experience: 0-1 years

Roles and Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Monitor and document patient responses, report progress and concerns.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, safety, and home strategies.
• Assist Physical Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
