Job summary

Select Medical in Somers Point, NJ is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for full-time outpatient work. The position offers a 5-day schedule, with 3 evenings weekly until 7pm and no weekends, starting in Somers Point with potential cross-site coverage nearby. Compensation is hourly and experience-based.

The PTA will provide patient care under a licensed PT, support a busy orthopedic center, and contribute to achieving optimal outcomes while offering an excellent patient experience.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited PTA program (CAPTE).
• Valid state PTA license (or license in process).
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist as required by state Practice Act.
• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services for patients of all ages.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients while supporting staff relations.

Position:Physical Therapist Assistant

Location: Somers Point, NJ

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 3 evenings a week until 7pm. No Weekends!

Compensation: $30.00-$35.00 hourly based on your experience.

Our Somers Pointoutpatient orthopedic center is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide top-notch patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. Our highly trained and respected clinical team provides treatment services that maximize functionality and promote the best optimal outcomes for our patients. We take pride in creating an exceptional patient experience, helping all of our patients get back to athletics, work, life, and the things they love. This position wil start out 3 days in a Somers Point and 2 days a week at another center close by. It will eventually be full-time in Somers Point as patient volume increases.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
